Pittstown Point
is a delightful
Resort & Fishing Lodge with 12 air conditioned guest rooms located on
Crooked Island the Bahamas, established in 1970, and currently owned and operated by former NASCAR driver and team owner DK Ulrich and his wife Megan. Crooked Island is 23 miles long
and 7 miles wide surrounded by beautiful coral waters, pristine reefs, and
small cays, with some 345 local Bahamian residents scattered in several small
villages over the entire island. Only one road meanders the length of the
island, a few small Bahamian owned bars and restaurants, and "very
mini" mini-marts, no shopping, no gambling, no traffic, and lots of warm
sunshine year around with a prevailing east breeze almost every day. Our
rooms have no TV or telephone however we do have one pay phone and internet
access available on request.

restaurant featuring the finest cuisine in the Family Islands. The Friendly all
Bahamian staff prepare freshly caught local Grouper, Snapper, Tuna, Mahi Mahi,
Lobster and Conch, along with salads and fresh vegetables and fruits flown in
each week. The "Sunset Bar & Grill", located just
steps away on the beach overlooking Bird Rock Lighthouse, has a full cocktail
bar, ice cold Bahamian Kalik and domestic beers, tropical frozen drinks, music,
big screen TV, and dance with the "Rake & Scrape" local band on
Saturday night. Check out the "Happy Hour" snacks, same day
sushi, goat pepper salsa & chips, conch fritters, to name a few, and don't
forget the World Famous "Crooked Grouper Sandwich" served on a
freshly baked island bun, with secret sunshine sauce, served daily at the bar,
on the beach, or in the restaurant.
Our native Bahamian
staff is on hand to see to your every need while you relax and hang out on the
beach, snorkel and swim, or enjoy the fishing and diving activities available
at Pittstown
Point. On-site manager Elton "Shakey" McKinney, one of the
best bonefish guides in the Bahamas, and his wife "Stacia" will check
you in and answer any questions you may have about the local Bahamian history
and culture, and assist you in setting up activities.

Snorkel the shallow
coral reefs in the crystal clear aqua water, see pristine plant and marine
life, starfish, sunken vessels, and more. Dive the "Wall",
where shallow water 30 feet deep meets deep water 1200 feet deep, dive as far
as you dare and see unbelievable sights. Our Dive Master will show you
the secrets of the Crooked Island Passage waters.
